The story behind the name of the vessel is a short one, but one that came with many laughs and tears. I had purchased the vessel with a whole lot of faith, far too much! With pictures, detailed descriptions, and an in depth survey done beforehand, I figured I had all my bases covered, at least the important ones. As it turns out, I was very misinformed after arriving down in Corpus Christi to pick up the boat and sail off into the sunset. My friend, BJ, and I were greeted by a sailboat in a sad state of affairs. From water damaged, mildew covered everything, to a whole slew of broken amenities. We immediately took care of what we thought as the essentials to surviving out in the waves only to find out on our long journey to the Caribbean that there was far more than met the eye in desperate need of some TLC. And by TLC, of course, I mean removing, kicking, cursing, burning, and replacing.
